Increase your Google Adsense Revenue

Posted by BlogTime On October - 27 - 2009

It can be pretty frustrating seeing a decent number of Adsense impressions being recorded for your blog or website but getting hardly any clicks on your ads, I was recently asked by a visitor to my blog how do you increase your Adsense revenue without shoving your ads in the face of your visitors.

Well to be perfectly honest there is good news and bad news associated with that question, the bad news is that you can’t really expect to increase adsense revenue while trying to hide your ads away, you need to make a decision do you want adsense revenue from your blog or not?

If the answer is that you do then there are a few things you can do for Google Adsense optimization. The good news is that it is best to be subtle with your ads and blend them into your website, these are not secret formulas they are actually the techniques advised when I attended a Google seminar on this very subject and below you will find the general rules for increasing the chances of getting a better click through rate on your ads: – Read the rest of this entry »

Article Submission Software Review

Posted by BlogTime On October - 21 - 2009

An effective article marketing strategy is widely considered to be one of the best methods for creating multiple back links to your blogs or websites, improving the page rank of your sites and subsequently attracting visitors to your sites.

To submit your article to multiple article directories however can be a very time consuming process particularly if you are trying to do everything manually i.e. finding article directories, registering with those directories, copying and pasting your article information to the individual directories and trying to keep a record of what and where you have posted your articles so that you do not accidentally get labeled as a spam submitter by inadvertently re-submitting to the same sites with the same information.

So what is the answer to these problems, in a word it is finding an using a reliable article submission software program that addresses these issues and provides you with the ability to quickly and effectively post your articles to multiple directories, in other words a reliable directory submission software package.

Changing your Google Blogger Template

Changing your Google Blogger Template

I received a request recently from someone asking for help on how to change his Google Blogger template without losing his old template. The 2nd part is really easy, you just download a full back up of your blog to your hard drive, this feature is built into Blogger.

Once that is done finding and configuring a new template may not be quite as easy, there are lots of free templates available but you are at the mercy and skill of the person who put the code together and some are better than others, so you could be in for an easy ride or it could turn into a nightmare. The physical process of changing a template is very straight forward and is described on my blog Moulin Website Design for anyone who wants to know. But take care and check you are really getting what you want.

Online Marketing Articles- review coming soon

Posted by BlogTime On October - 7 - 2009

You may have noticed that I have been a little quiet on the posting front for the last week or so, this is because I am in the process of evaluating a new article marketing strategy and have been tied up in posting all the articles I have written to lots of different article directories.

This process is likely to continue for a while longer yet because not only do I intend posting all of my current articles, I am planning on writing a bunch more and getting them posted as well. You could be asking at this point what is the big deal with article marketing and the answer is pretty simple really:

  • You write a load of articles on the topics you have published on the Internet
  • At the end of the article is a resource section where you can put 2 sometimes 3 links to a URL of your choice
  • You post the articles with as many article directories as you can
  • Webmasters and bloggers go to the directories for content for their websites and blogs
  • If they like your articles they post them on their websites or blogs including the links to your URLs
  • Gradually your URLs gain more an more back links from all the posts that are made
  • Backlinks = popularity = page ranking = traffic = sales and or readers
