A Social Bookmarking Campaign for Lazy Linkers

Posted by BlogTime On August - 22 - 2010

Social Bookmarking Campaigns can be pretty complex. In order to get the support of other users of a social media site it is fairly well known that you have to fully engage with the site, share links add comments and enter into a dialogue with the community. That is a pretty time consuming activity and with the best will in the world it probably isn’t going to be possible with more than perhaps one or two of the social media sites effectively.

That leaves a little bit of a dilemma, because for an effective promotion of a URL you really need to be establishing a series of back links across a whole range of sites and ideally you should not be self submitting. So is there another way, well it just so happens there is. Its called SocialAdr and it is a subscription program you can adopt that has come up with a unique way of ensuring that you will get support from social media sites with practically no interaction. That leaves you to concentrate on the one or two sites where you can be effective and fully interact.

The Money Is In The List, How to Get A List of Email Addresses

Posted by BlogTime On August - 15 - 2010

How many times have you heard or seen stated on the Internet that the money is in the list? Assuming you know that this statement refers to a list of email addresses, the next question is going to be about how to get a list of email addresses?

That is actually easier said than done, especially when you have an audience that has learned over time that putting your name and email address in that harmless looking form is probably going to result in you receiving multiple emails each and every day from that time forth. Usually promising you the best thing since sliced bread for making an instant fortune, tearing Google apart, beating the system, tearing up the rule book and exposing a huge loophole that will make you rich beyond your wildest dreams overnight.

Problem is that most of the time, the promises bear no fruit, the instant fortune doesn’t appear and many of the individuals who employ this tactic are simply trying to make money out of you and don’t really care what happens once they have their cash. That is clearly not true of everyone, there are many people who also believe very strongly in what they are offering and have a genuine desire to help you out. Lets face it, there is enough business going through the Internet to keep everyone reasonably well paid; even if it is restricted to legitimate businesses with real value and not everyone, believe it or not, wants to be a millionaire. Some people just want to make a comfortable living.

Posted by BlogTime On August - 6 - 2010

Today’s post is from guest writer Mike Seddon’ who is a pay per click ad specialist.

As business owners we live in interesting times! For many of us the internet has changed the way we do business.

Some business owners have already embraced these changes and are seeing dramatic growth in the business.

Others are trying to ignore the internet and hoping it is a fad that will go away. It is not a fad. It will not go away and their businesses are probably doomed if they do not change their thinking.

How Promoting An Online Business Works

Posted by BlogTime On July - 20 - 2010

Promoting an online business should and can be simple, albeit at times it can be a little tedious, but there are ways around that.

The reasons for wanting to promote an online business are pretty simple as well. It is basically down to one thing and one thing only, getting traffic to your site. Whether that is a blog, a static website, a single page website, an article, or any of the other ways of illustrating your business or business components online.

The fact of the matter is that traffic is king, the more traffic you can get to your site the more likely you are to make those important sales, find new customers, gain the attention of advertisers or benefit from pay per click (PPC) advertising or pay per action (PPA) affiliate relationships. Ideally that traffic needs to be highly targeted with visitors that come to your site looking for exactly what you are offering.

Are You a Part of the Referral Food Chain?

Posted by BlogTime On April - 9 - 2010

This post is brought to you by our guest writer Maria Elena Duron who is once again discussing the subject of referrals and how important they are with regard to building your business. Please feel free to add your comments to this post and let us know how helpful you found the information.

The Referral Food Chain

The referral food chain basically answers the question of “who eats when you eat.”  Do you know who you are the best customer for?  Do you know who benefits from your success?  With Realtors I work with, they’ll tell me that for every transaction (meaning real estate transaction i.e. house sale) it generates jobs for 72 other people.  So, those 72 other people would be sad, heart-broken – emotionally and financially, if you stopped bringing in income.  Those are the people who can help in your success and be a referral source for you.  Why would they do that?  Because they are the ones who truly have a vested interest.
