Google Buzz is the big story after its launch last week. If you choose to use it, then it links in automatically to other services such as Picasa, Google Reader, Twitter and Flickr. Lots of nice features and of course another option to place links back to your websites or blogs of interest. Although to be honest there are already plenty of options for doing that via the share icon below; which as I write is not currently offering Google Buzz. Pretty sure it won’t be long before it does though.
There was a bit of an issue with publicizing all your contacts automatically with Google Buzz when it first came out. So if you are concerned, make sure you apply the fixes they rapidly put in place to resolve these problems. You can find out more about the issues here

I’m wondering if Google buzz is still an effective site to drive traffic to your site. Google plus was recently launched and i’m thinking maybe it’s better to promote in google plus rather than in buzz. I’d like to hear your input. Thanks in advance.

Hi Janis, I have only just started to use Google +1 so can’t really comment at this stage on how effective it is. My gut feel says it is probably better than Google Buzz mainly because, for whatever reason, Buzz didn’t really get taken up as much as hoped for and to an extent could be considered a bit of a failed project in Google terms. I still bookmark to it occasionally because it is easy to do, but that is about it really.
