My gut feel says it is probably better than Google Buzz mainly because, for whatever reason, Buzz didn't really get taken up as much as hoped for and to an extent could be considered a bit of a failed project in Google terms. I still bookmark to it occasionally because it is easy to do, but that is about it really.
