A Good Time is Blog Time

This site is all about how you can work from home using the Internet, it of course includes information on how to go about creating a business blog , but it also discusses many other ways you can work from home. There is of course the jobs board which you can find on the ‘Online Projects’ page, utilising Web 2.0 tools and the home business opportunity page. The other primary home based business opportunity listed is the Stock Trading Business page which details how you can access a training program for learning how to trade on the stock market irrespective of whether it is rising or falling. The price for this course incidentally has just been significantly reduced.

Of course what should not be forgotten is that there are two common components to all of these methods for working from home. The Internet and your very own personal computer.

What I would suggest is that there is very little you as an individual can do to protect the Internet from falling over,that responsibility lies very much in the hands of the mega corporations and the powers to be all around the globe that have taken on that mantle. But the other component, your personal computer is very much your responsibility.

Working from Home, Create a Business Blog

Before getting into the nitty gritty of how you can work from home through the creation of a business blog, I thought it was important to consider why I am even qualified to discuss that subject.

To be honest I pondered on that notion and wondered whether I was actually qualified.Then I thought about it a little longer and I came up with the following rational. I do work from home and I do make money doing that, nothing special about that, lots of people do it but some are much more successful than others. I had also learned how to create a website, register a domain name and arrange hosting for the website. Then I discovered the world of blogging and how simple it was to create a WordPress blog.

So what else qualifies me to write about this subject, well I left my native country, moved to France and beside the holiday rental we let out realised that I needed another source of income, that is when I started to look at Internet Marketing a little more seriously. Because when you create a business blog you are actually stepping into the world of Internet marketing. That requires research and not just once and you are done, but on an ongoing basis. This is because techniques and methods are constantly changing in response to the ever evolving world of the Internet. The other factor to consider here was that I could no longer afford to fail, I needed that income rather than just wanting additional income.

If you are seriously considering creating a blog for business purposes, as a home business opportunity, then you also need to seriously consider utilising a selection of the Web 2.0 services that are available to use mostly, if not all, as a free resource. It is possible to start blogging and to generate an income from your blog with virtually no start up costs, but what you will have to substitute for the cash investment is a time investment.

Home business opportunities need work and to make your blog visible on the Internet you will need to utilise the Web 2.0 services that are available to provide links to your blog and to bring traffic to your blog. But for Web 2.0 services it is more than just a source for back links, it is also about building relationships, supporting the communities and being offered support. This does not happen without investing time, time spent interacting and finding people who are like minded and trustworthy. It is when you have developed these relationships that you will find the people will take the time to visit your site, recommend it to friends and of course link to your posts and pages.
