Hybridised Marketing System – PPC Earnings Qualified or Not

Posted by BlogTime On March - 12 - 2011

This is the only name I could come up with for this marketing system, its not Internet marketing, because its more than that. Its not network marketing because its more than that. It’s not viral marketing because its more than than that.

So I named it the Hybridised Marketing System because I think that is its most accurate description. The thing about this system is that it is a combination of more than one system and that is exactly what a hybrid is. The beauty of the hybrid approach is that if you are into Network marketing then you can use the methods and techniques associated with network marketing to promote this business. If you are into Internet marketing you can use the methods and techniques associated with Internet marketing to promote this business and now you will be able to earn without recruiting anyone through the new Pay Per Click system. But if you just like to give stuff away and use a free gift to promote and brand your business then you can do that as well.

PPC – Google Adsense Isn’t The Only Option

Posted by BlogTime On October - 5 - 2010

PPC Alternative OptionPPC (pay per click) is an established and well known method for generating income from Blogs and Websites. Using Google Adsense is probably one of the best known methods and has been adopted by many bloggers and webmasters to establish very credible incomes in some cases. That said if you ask the question on any blogging forum, and get answered truthfully, you will probably find that there are a vast number of people that simply don’t get sufficient clicks to earn more than what would be considered peanuts for the amount of effort put it.

So for every person making reasonable money there are likely to be about 10 making next to nothing and wondering why they bother. Part of the reason is that you are only receiving a small percentage of the value of the click, so if the value of the click is low then clearly the percentage paid out for the Google Adsense portion is even lower. On top of that you have to bring targeted traffic to your site that may be interested in your adverts, you have to test and establish the most effective advert formats and make sure you do not provide too many distractions that will lead your visitors away from the Google Adsense ads. So all in all quite a lot to think about just to get a click that may be worth anything from a few cents to perhaps a couple of dollars depending on the subject matter of your site.

So it seems pretty clear that if you are spending time getting traffic to the site then you are going to need to think about optimizing that site for more than just Google Adsense. What you actually need is a whole portfolio of products, services and ads that can all generate an income. But then, there is always a ‘but then’, you cannot be portraying yourself like a lascivious lady of the night only after one thing, the cash.

Posted by BlogTime On August - 13 - 2010

It’s very easy to forget that someone completely new to blogging may need assistance in understanding terms that anyone who has been blogging for a while will be completely familiar with. Consequently we can forget to explain the basics such as what’s the difference between Adwords and Adsense for example.

So, in a nutshell, the difference between Adwords and Adsense is that for one you are paying for an advertising campaign and with the other you are being paid for placing advertising on your website or blog, like this one to the left. Both are operated on a PPC (pay per click) basis.

A longer version of that is: Read the rest of this entry »

The Power of Pay Per Click

Posted by BlogTime On August - 6 - 2010

Today’s post is from guest writer Mike Seddon’ who is a pay per click ad specialist.

As business owners we live in interesting times! For many of us the internet has changed the way we do business.

Some business owners have already embraced these changes and are seeing dramatic growth in the business.

Others are trying to ignore the internet and hoping it is a fad that will go away. It is not a fad. It will not go away and their businesses are probably doomed if they do not change their thinking.
