Affiliate marketing can be a lucrative option to earn money as a blogger. You will have to write reviews on various products. The articles that you write should be impressive and persuasive enough for the reader to follow the affiliate link given in your blog. Just writing grammatically correct English will not win your reader’s trust. In fact, your articles should have a few other characteristics to emerge as a powerful tool for affiliate marketing.

Affiliate Marketing TipsFollow these steps and notice a high jump in your affiliate earnings:

Write in simple language

You may be writing in the native language of the readers but make it a point to use simple language. Refrain from using jargons. Jargons are industry-specific words, which may be unknown to a commoner. If you explain the product well without using jargon, it  means that you have knowledge of the subject about which you are writing.

Make sure your writing is original

The internet is full of tools that can give you an article by just changing the order of words of an already published article. However, a reader who is looking for a solution to his problem would simply reject your article if he finds it to be a copy of another article.

The reader is looking for a unique article and you can impress him with your research and proper compilation of facts regarding the particular product in question.

Provide your personal touch

When you are writing to impress, you should drop discrimination. This means that you should not consider yourself different from the readers you are writing for. For instance, if your product is massage oil for Arthritis patients then you must write as if you understand very well how it feels to be in arthritic pain. It certainly does not mean that you have to lie but you have to be sympathetic in your tone.

Do not start your selling process in the article itself

It is true that you are writing the article with a view to sell it but the reader may not be reading the article with the sole intention of buying. Hence, if you sound like a salesperson then the reader might just refuse to go beyond the first paragraph.

Always keep an informative tone in order to make your blog a reader’s favorite. Your aim should be to educate the reader and then present your product as the solution to his problem.

Include facts in your article

Your articles should have facts. There should be nothing fictional in your articles. If you are providing data, you must name the source of the same. If you are telling a true story, make sure you substantiate it with facts.

Your article and the resource box should be related

A resource box is the small box at the end of the article, which contains the link for the product. If on reading the article, the reader is not given a link to the exact product or a product related to the content in the article then you efforts will go waste. Hence, always remember to keep a relevancy between the link and your article.

End your articles with a question

It is a very good practice to end every article with a question to the reader. Ask them questions. Invite them to drop comments. This will give you an idea about where you lack and where you excel.

Article writing is a two-way tool for you. You are not only selling a product and earning commission but also making your blog popular. In due course, you will surely have loyal visitors visiting your blog on a daily basis.
