There is no doubt that the use of video can be useful to demonstrate a procedure for instance. But that does not necessarily mean it is always the best way, often an eBook or even a post with a few well chosen graphics and a clearly written and accurate set of instructions will do the job better than a video. If when you are trying to follow some video instructions you find yourself re-running the video and making notes then that will be the proof of the point that perhaps and alternative method or combined method would have been better than a pure Vlog.
